Painting a day for the month of May!

In just over a month I am taking a road trip down into the states to promote my work to a bunch of gallerys.  However, being an artist with a much lower income, money for hotels, gas etc is a bit of an issue.  So the entire month of May, I will be posting a new painting every day.  Each painting is 3x4 inches and will be $70.  A week after the last painting is posted, everyone that has purchased on of my mini paintings will be put into a draw.  The name drawn 

will win one free commission of the same size.  Yes that means you can have whatever you want painted on

 it...zombies, monkeys, evil zombie blood thirsty asparagus even, whatever you like.

Dr Sketchy's Artist Series

Sunday March 29th I will be the first of many Dr Sketchy's featured
artists.  For those of you that have never heard of Dr Sketchys...
Part art class, part cabaret, join us for 3 hours of drinking, drawing and
decadence! You bring the art supplies and we'll bring you the most
beautiful, bizarre and outrageous models for your sketching delectation!
Think burlesque dancers, drag kings and queens, circus performers and we
let you draw them for a whole three hours!

The Dr Sketchy's Artist Series features burlesque art models dressed as
characters from the paintings of Vancouver based artists. View your
favorite artist's paintings in the gallery, talk to them about their work,
and see art come to life on stage! No matter what artistic level you are,
everyone is welcome to tweak their skills.  We will keep the "liquid
inspiration" flowing while Lil' Luvroc poses as our zombie eyed
sweetheart!
